A border collie from Ceredigion has smashed the record for the world's most expensive sheepdog after being sold for more than £27,000. Twelve-month-old Kim, who was trained by Dewi Jenkins of Talybont, near Aberystwyth, was sold at an online auction by Farmers Marts of Dolgellau.

Depending on whether you adopt the dog or buy them from a breeder, you can pay as little as $50 or as much as $2,000. Monthly costs can range between $45 and $1,025, depending on the circumstances.
